Grace Marie Edmondson, 88, of Richland Springs, passed away on Monday, October 26, 2009 at a local care facility in San Saba, TX. She was born October 20, 1921 in Bethel Community, TX, the daughter of Charles A. Brown and Ethel Mae Cook. Grace Marie Brown and J. C. Edmondson were married on December 25, 1938 in San Saba. He preceeded her in death on March 12, 2007.
She worked as a rancher and attended the Church of Christ.
Grace is survived by her son, Johnny Kirk Edmondson and his wife, Diltzie of McCaulley; her daughter, Patricia Smith and her husband, Sammy of Mullin; her grandchildren, Carter Edmondson and his wife, Tessa; Lorissa Kingsbury and her husband, Charlie; Laci Russell and her husband, Ryan; Felisha Seider and her husband, Chad; her great-grandchildren, Hadley Seider, Michael Seider, Nealy Edmondson, Hallie Rose Edmondson, Chaynee Kingsbury, Cason Kingsbury, Carty Kingsbury, her sister-in-laws, Nita Brown of Lockhart; Jay Carney of San Saba; Willie Mae Locker of Spring Creek and several nieces and nephews.
Grace is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers, Nelson Brown and Buster Brown; four sisters, Annabell Sanford, Willie Mae Woods, Nellie V. Woods, and Katy Lee Prescott.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Spring Creek Church of Christ with Pastor Carter Edmondson and Pastor Charlie Kingsbury officiating.
Interment followed at the Spring Creek Cemetery.
